Jackie Cormack is Hertfordshire Ladies 2 Wood Champion after beating Linda Newby of Harpenden BC in the County Finals on Wednesday 25^th  July.  On Monday 30^th many BBC members will be making their way to Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa to support Jackie when she plays Cornwall’s champion at English Women's Bowling Association National Finals.

Berkhamsted men continued their successful season beating Croxley Guild in the third round of the McMullen County Cup setting up an Area 4 final against their neighbours Tring on August 6th at Bushey BC.  Berkhamsted overcame a very strong Croxley team on all three rinks with all twelve players playing their part in the Club's best ever run in this competition.

Ken & Marion Maynard and Anne & Frank Cutting have reached the final stages of the St. Albans & District Stockman Winser competition to be played in September.

Friendly matches continue with win on all rinks against a visiting Broadway side on Saturday afternoon.  Top rink went to Marion Maynard, Pat Ringwood, Frank Cutting and David Lovett.
