On a pleasant Saturday afternoon, Berkhamsted played host to 5 mixed rinks from Croxley Guild Bowls Club.  In a match that was close all the way through, Berkhamsted eventually ran out winners by 92 shots to 81. Top rink honours went to Janet Dellamuro, Lyle Scott-Darling, Anne Cutting and Eric Millar.

On Sunday a mens rink of Derek Sandford, Frank Cutting, Bill Sharpling and Ken Maynard represented the club in an invitation tournament at Hemel Hempstead Bowls Club in which they finished runners up to a team from the home club.
