The club had a terrific 52 - 55 win during the week against local rivals Tring B.C. at Tring in the Watford and District Ray Cup competition to move into the 3rd round to be played at Oxhey B.C. on Thursday 13 July.

Eric Lamb and Derek Cox had a runaway win 29 - 6 in the Watford and District mens pairs and Colin Cormack won 21 -10 against Richard Craft of Tring in the mens singles.

Our ladies also had a good week winning on both rinks at Kings Langley. The league rink of Carol Dunn, Mary Lamb, Jackie Cormack and Mary Clarke won 19 -13 and the friendly rink of Pauline Medland, Mary Cave, Judy Kenyon and Beryl Parsons won 16 - 14.

On Saturday, 5 triples team visited Borehamwood B.C. for a friendly and won by 94 shots to 61. Top rink went to Corinne Little, Alan Osborne and Ken Maynard.
