Edie Coxhill followed up her Hertfordshire County Champion of Champions win and visit to Leamington for the Ladies National Championships with another County title when she beat Ann O'Hare of Hatfield in a thrilling finish to secure the Hertfordshire County 2 Wood singles title.  The two were tied at 14 shots each going into the last end of this 21 end final, however Edie held her nerve and drew both shots to clinch the title.

Berkhamsted played a 6 rink mixed friendly against local adversaries Tring on Sunday.  On a glorious day Berko shared the honours 3 rinks each, but lost out overall by a score of 125 to 111.  Top rink for Berkhamsted was Kevin Clarke, Jane Low, Eric Challis, and Mike Low.
