Edie Coxhill has reached the final of the Hertfordshire County Champion of Champions by beating Helen Parsons of Bishop Stortford.  She now plays Margaret Moseley of Borehamwood in the final which will be played at Shire Park on the 19th July.

In the Watford and District ladies league the Berko team of Mary Lamb, Anne Furlong, Jackie Cormack and Marcia Pearce beat Cassiobury Ladies 31 shots to 6.

A mixed friendly was played in perfect conditions on Sunday against Amersham Bowls Club.  All Berkhamsted's four rinks won and gave the club a winning margin of 96 shots to 49, with top rink going to Sandra Dann, Pat Ringwood, Frank Cutting and Tony Perry
