Tony Perry has reached the Final of the Watford and District mens Champion of Champions by beating Woody Donoghue 21 - 15. The final will be played at Herts club on the 3rd September.

Mary Clarke has reached the Semi-final of the Watford and District Ladies Singles by beating another Mary Clarke from Kings Langley 22 shots to 9.

Our ladies league team of Carole Dunn, Mary Clarke, Anne Furlong and Marcia Pearce did well to beat Radlett by 23 shots to 18.

The Club also had a good week with mixed friendlies.  Four rinks won 89 - 68 against St. Albans at Clarence Park with Janet Dellamuro, Ernest Goldsmith, Colin Cormack and Mary Cave taking top rink.

But a six rink win against Herts Club was a much closer affair, with George Cannon, Malcolm Wood and Marcia Pearce having to share top rink with Mary Garner, Mike Burton and Janet Jackson.  Both triples won by 9 shots.  The match overall was a one shot win for Berko. by 103 shots to 102.
