Berkhamsted Bowls Club saw the season in with their annual Gemini Top 12 Trophy competition last Sunday.  This trophy, sponsored by Gemini Print Services Ltd. of Potten End, sees the top 12 ladies from last season pit their wits against the top 12 men in singles and pairs matches.  After the pairs matches in the morning, the men were narrowly in front by 4 games to 2, but in the afternoon they consolidated their lead to finally run out winners 14 -4.  All competitors and spectators had an entertaining day, basking in glorious sunshine most of the time.

Saturday 3rd May sees the Club's annual open morning when all members of the public are invited along to the Club to try the game out for free.  All are welcome to attend between 10am and 1pm when light refreshments will also be available at no cost.
